With over 90 entries for the Grasshoppers Final at Moreton Morrell the Intro & Pre-Novice
titles for 2008 were hotly contested. Our winners as pictured below saw off fierce
competition from runners up Rosanna Lambert & Beth Cosgrove.
The final course built by Mike Benfield tested all combinations combining show
jumping with a short cross country style phase.
Congratulations to all riders and our thanks go to our trainers & judges, Gill
Watson & Caro Haynes. We look forward to seeing you all next year!

‘ Entries Open for Grasshoppers Final ’

The Final will take place at Warwickshire College, Moreton Morrell on Sunday
27th April 2008.
Entries Open: 1st April 2008
There are limited spaces available in the Clear round classes which will be held
for competitors at Patchetts should they wish to enter. Late entries will be
decided after the closing date.
Schedule information and forms are available online to
download here. Entries can also be made online.
Stabling Forms MUST be returned to Warwickshire College directly.

Enter your local competition and make the most of the expert advice available before the season starts.
Entries are still being accepted for ALL venues and our team will make sure all riders wishing
to come along are given an opportunity to compete and train.
Grasshoppers provides a friendly and well organised environment where you and your horse can train in
confidence – whether this is your first season or your third there is always something new to take
away from these sessions enabling you to build upon your competition experience.

Schedules for the 2008 series can now be viewed online.
Entries are being accepted online and by post.

Qualifiers will be held at 15 centres nationwide and the 8 highest scoring rounds in each

‘ 2007 Series a big success!’

Just some of the comments from riders to date....
Just to say that I thoroughly enjoyed my day at Grasshoppers at Norton Heath today. It
was a great privilege to be taught by 2 such respected trainers. Thank you and the team
for the opportunity. I am looking forward to putting it all into practise.

It was my first experience of this event, I found it an excellent learning experience for
both my young horse and me.
My only gripe would be that I have to wait until next year to do it again!!!
